One eye on the weather forecast....

According to the Free (of course) Countdown App on my iphone, there are 5 days left until our first international trip.   Let the packing commence!  Yesterday, thanks to Tacogirl, we squared away our voucher for 10% off the flight from the mainland to Ambergris Caye.  Hey, just because we are going on vacation doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying to save money!  Every little bit counts, right?

A few days ago, I nervously checked the long term weather forecast to make sure we'll get out of BWI on time and was greeted by a warm, rainy forecast....just fine by me!

We've got a full weekend planned with friends and family leading up to take-off and then we'll be boarding the flying boat early Sunday morning with visions of aqua colored water in our minds.  Of course, I'll be thinking about landing that huge fish come Tuesday during our fishing trip!  And I can already taste the fresh catch we'll be eating on our midday beach bbq....

Back to "work" I go...

Check back later for our packing list.

and so it begins...

Good Day!

The Travelin' Foolz (that would be us, Carly and Matthew) welcomes you to embark with us on our journey of traveling the globe. This is our first blog and we are excited because we want to share our adventures with you! This journey will not only take you abroad, but also state side where we will share all of our favorite places (and some new ones too).

We would be remiss if we didn't thank our amazing friend, Alicia, for the many blog titles that she gave us and to our first blog follower, sister and friend, Megan! We want to also thank our friends, Jillian and Danny (http://ishouldlogoff.com) and Corbett and Jenesa (http://leonardandme.blogspot.com) for inspiring us to travel more and to blog about it!

The first trip on the docket: Ambergris Caye, Belize (January 2011). We invite you to come explore with us on our first ever international experience!

Cheers!

Carly (a dreamer of dreams) and Matthew (a travelin' man)
